Truffles sponsor Networking at the Theatre

The Broadway sandwich Bar to 6000 sq.ft.catering facility

Truffles sponsored the Woking Chamber of Commerce Networking event at the New Victoria Theatre on Friday 12 September. Some 50 local business owners and directors attended, along with Cllr Tony Branagan the Mayor of Woking. As one might expect, Truffles provided the catering for this month’s event and they were delighted by the many favourable comments they received.

Truffles celebrated their 30th Anniversary last year and the company is still run by the same family who started it in Woking in 1983, with three generations of the family now on board.

The company has seen considerable growth over the years and it has changed from a bustling Woking sandwich bar to a renowned catering company employing over 20 people, working from a 6000sq ft building in Byfleet with modern, air conditioned kitchen facilities.

With a turnover of £800,000 they cater to the business community and private customers throughout Surrey and the surrounding areas.

The majority of their catering is to local businesses requiring lunches for  meetings, training courses and seminars. They also regularly cater for larger events offering a wide range of menus; from hot and cold canapés to sit down buffets with Truffles smartly dressed waiting staff available to help out whenever required.

The private catering side of the company caters for any size and type of party, anniversaries, christenings, weddings and funerals. Truffles reputation has been largely built on customer recommendations and they have many satisfied customers who use their services over and over again.

Their delicious chocolate brownie gift boxes - each box containing 12 great pieces – can be purchased via their website:  www.truffles.co.uk, and the boxes can be posted to anywhere in the UK; to family, friends or as corporate gifts to clients and colleagues.

Truffles is run by Stephen Keane and his brother-in-law Cliff Corbett; head chef Dom Sibley, event co-ordinator Helen Keane and many other talented chefs, catering assistants and delivery drivers. Helen is Steve’s sister and they were both responsible for starting Truffles in The Broadway in Woking all those years ago.
