Surrey County Council Invests in New Corporate Office Hub in Woking Town Centre

Surrey County Council is pleased to announce its purchase of the Victoria Gate building on Chobham Road in Woking town centre. The acquisition underpins the Council’s commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and improved service delivery to residents and employees. The new workplace will serve as the Council’s corporate office hub in north-west Surrey.
Currently based at Quadrant Court on Guildford Road in Woking, Surrey County Council is set to relocate its staff to the Victoria Gate building later in 2024.
The decision to move to Victoria Gate aligns with Surrey County Council’s vision to provide services from a contemporary, agile environment that caters to the needs of both residents and employees.
By moving services to the centre of Woking, a preferred area in north-west Surrey, the Council aims to optimise accessibility for both residents and staff. The Victoria Gate property offers excellent access to public transport and car parking facilities.

Surrey County Council’s headquarters are based at Woodhatch Place in Reigate with other corporate office hubs across the county at Dakota in Brooklands Weybridge, and Fairmount House in Leatherhead. The Victoria Gate building in Woking is poised to become another central office hub for the Council, contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of services in the county
