  1. Identity: How you see yourself is the foundation of your business journey: Do you see yourself as a business owner or an entrepreneur. Do you want a small business or a business that will scale? Your business will always be a reflection of how you see yourself. The good news is that your identity is just a mental choice.
  2. Imagination: All leadership development programs talk about the need for business leaders to have a vision. If your vision comes from what you ‘know’ it will be limited. To go beyond your current limits you must be able to engage your imagination to see a future bigger, brighter and bolder than your current circumstances.
  3. Intention: Most businesses fail because the owners are not fully committed to making it a success in their own terms. They look outside of themselves for the ‘way’ to run their business. Success comes from being intentional about the results you want to achieve.
  4. Invention: Businesses run on effective systems and processes. These have to be invented by the business owner and the wider team so that the business does not become dependent on 1 or 2 key personnel.
  5. Inspiration: Running a business is never a smooth path. You have to be able to deal with the downs as well as the ups and be the motivating force for yourself and the team.
  6. Inhibition: Inevitably at times of stress emotions can run high. One of the key leadership skills is emotional intelligence. EI is the ability to manage your emotions so they don’t hijack your actions and decision making.
  7. Influence: Whether it’s selling to clients, negotiating with suppliers or asking the team to work in a different way, it is the ability to influence effectively that will take you to your success.
  8. Invigoration: In an ever changing and fast evolving world there is no room for complacency. Invigoration and reinvention are key skills to ensure you and your business stay relevant.

Think of it as a control panel for your company's presence on all of Google's products. Google has a 90% share of the global search engine market and so to ignore the opportunities on offer is an amateur mistake. Through Google My Business, you can help customers find your business in Google Search, position it on Google Maps, provide up-to-date information including opening times, and ultimately, tell customers your story.

Attendees should make sure they have access to their Google My Business before the event so that they can take full advantage of what they learn, live!

Tags are snippets of code that you add to your website in order to collect information and send it to third parties.Common examples include the Google Analytics tracking tag, the Facebook Pixel, the LinkedIn insight tag and Twitter conversion tracking tags but there are many, many others.

Google Tag Manager is a simple web-based interface that simplifies the process of working with tags on your website. Rather than going into the source code or plugins for your site every time you want to add a new tag, Google Tag Manager enables you to do everything you need in one place.

Google Tag Manager also enables you to go beyond the tracking functionality in Google Analytics to collect much more data and monitor more precisely how people interact with your website. Perhaps you’d like to know how far people scroll down the pages of your site, or how many are submitting your contact form, or watching a video on your site? Google Tag Manager can help you with all of this and more.

This webinar is aimed at any small business or organisation that wants to better understand how Google Search works and what simple steps they can take themselves to improve the performance of their site on Google.

We work with WordPress so we’ll be using WordPress examples during this webinar but the bulk of the content will be equally relevant to any other website platform so you certainly don’t need to have a WordPress site in order to benefit from attending this webinar.
