Call for Artists!

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice are looking for artists to donate a piece of 2D visual art for their upcoming exhibition.

We are calling for artists who would like to donate a piece of work to our art exhibition, their work will be exhibited at The Lightbox 4-22 February 2026, with all sales donated to the Hospice. Artists participating will have their work and profile on our website, and will be invited to the private view before the exhibition opens to the public along with other Hospice guests.

The Inspiration for Life exhibition was established in 2024 and has proved a great success giving local artists a prestigious platform to display their work as well as contribute to an important cause.

There is an incredible additional incentive for artists with the chance to win a £500 cash prize, which will be awarded by the selection panel to the artist’s work that shows most talent and best encapsulates the theme of the exhibition – Inspiration for Life.

Artists must submit an application which includes an image of the picture they would like to donate by the deadline of Wednesday 31st December 2025.

Please note that the cash prizes and costs of the exhibition have been kindly provided by a private donation specifically for this purpose, and are not from the Hospice’s funds. This means that all proceeds from sales at the exhibition will go direct to the Hospice.
