Sally’s ceramics complement Tracy’s modern photographic images perfectly. Sally works in stoneware to hand build her pots, using either crank, white or black clays to create small, medium and large pieces, both functional and sculptural. She is constantly experimenting with shapes and glazes, getting inspiration from classical forms as well as the tones and textures of nature. Tracy specialises in original photographic images from around the world - particularly architectural subjects where she notices patterns and shapes others might miss. She takes her camera with her wherever she goes – attempting to capture the essence of the places she visits.

Gary Crowley

Gary Crowley is a voice and face recognisable to many through his various radio show, tv presenting and documentary appearances over the last 40 years.

Gary’s interview CV is a veritable who’s who of major names in music and film including Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Jack Lemmon, Paul Weller and many more.

Gary has been the subject of a short film by Mono Media Films ‘The Life, The Music and the Hairstyles’ and will be taking part in a rare Q&A taking about his career, his love of music and passion for radio broadcasting.

Gary’s latest project is a compilation album entitled ‘Gary Crowley’s Lost 80s’
Lost 80s presents 63 tracks that are a welcome alternative to the ‘fluffy manufactured pop’ that ruled the airwaves in the U.K. and USA through the 1980S.

Expertly complied across a 4 CD Box Set and 3 ‘themed’ LPs, veer from ‘Jingly Jangly’ indie-pop, to the edge of New Romantic, and a wide range of under the radar, genre-defining dance floor grooves.

Many of these tracks are rare and hard to find, having not appeared on CDs or LPs since their original 80s release.

You will have the opportunity to buy a signed copy of the album and meet the curator on the night.

Supported by Christ Church Woking and Transform Work UK, Woking Workplace Christian Network (WWCN) is a network for Christians working in Woking or nearby. Whether you are the only Christian you know in your place of work, or if you have a workplace Christian fellowship, WWCN seeks to support and encourage you to live out your faith at work.

WWCN has two aims:
• To support and encourage individual Christians working in Woking or nearby to live out their faith at work
• To support Christian workplace groups in or near Woking to have an impact for God on their place of work
We will seek to fulfil these aims by organising regular WWCN meet ups for Christians working in Woking or nearby in Woking, in or around working hours. These meet ups will provide Christian fellowship and support specifically around issues affecting believers in the workplace and encouragement to live out their faith at work.

We are holding an initial meeting and network launch event Wednesday 19th June at Christ Church Woking at 5:45pm for a 6:00pm start.

We will be hearing from Ros Turner, Director of Transform Work UK, about bringing your faith to work and will also have an opportunity to discuss how and when the network will meet and engage with each other.

Any questions about WWCN should be directed to Andrew Humphreys at andrew.humphreys@transformworkuk.org.
