David started his working life in The Royal Engineers reaching the rank of major, before moving into computer marketing. He has spent over 20 years involved in Surrey public affairs, occupying several positions at Surrey County Council, including 4 years as Executive Member for Adult Services and 2 years as County Chairman.

David will explain his role as Police and Crime Commissioner and include some facts and figures about Surrey Police and crime in the Woking area.

This is our third visit to the House. The event is kindly hosted for us by Jonathan Lord MP who will speak after the dinner. The event starts in the magnificent Westminster Hall where a tour of the House begins. The tour has been kindly sponsored by Menzies LLP. This is followed by drinks on the terrace overlooking the Thames - cash bar. The superb three course meal, including wine, takes place in a beautiful oak paneled room,and the service and ambiance are all that you might expect.
